Carol’s story

Meet Carol

Carol’s Mission: to be a positive and inspirational resource for building individual self-awareness and creating new and lasting meaningful changes in one’s personal and professional lives.

Carol Podeszwa, M.Ed., CPC, is a Certified Professional Life Coach who specializes in working with men and women who wish to create positive personal and professional life changes. Carol began her career as a teacher working with special needs children. After some years as an educator, Carol made a career change to work with businesses and corporations as a Human Resources Consultant with a focus on recruiting, employee relations, performance management, conflict resolution, and training.

In 2002, Carol began to work in the higher education arena, most recently at Georgia Tech, where she gained invaluable insight and practical experience as a coach and trainer. Realizing that her greatest passion was working with people to facilitate positive change, Carol was inspired to return to college and received her Master’s degree in Human Resources/Organizational Development, with a focus on Adult Education, at the University of Georgia, graduating magna cum laude.

Today, Carol inspires men and women by providing the insight only attainable through a unique combination of active dialogue, personal assessments, and goal-setting techniques. One particular assessment that has been proven to be a catalyst for positive change is the Social and Emotional Intelligence Assessment. Additionally, Carol uses tools to challenge participants’ current thinking, feelings, and actions to positively shift them into more empowered selves.

Carol’s workshops and one-on-one coaching promote lasting change, as clients walk away with a new perspective and a fresh plan of action for success. Carol is an active member of International Coach Federation/Georgia Chapter. Carol is married with two step adults and enjoys spinning and yoga classes.
